My fiance use to work at a fiberglass company and they said this.your clothes and your body should be washed in white vinegar and cold water then take a warm shower using soap. It smells but if anyone would know how to get it off the people who make it would
How about duct tape?
Wash with soap and water, but use cold water so that your pores will close and rub down your arms and legs.
cold shower-hot shower opens pores and gets it in further
shower, and soap. Use cold water if you can(theory is that it closes up the pores on the body so insulation will not get hung up in the "holes".
Cold shower.I have heard that fabric softener helps with the itching.
Cold shower and soap and water. It's a pain, there's not much you can do other than that. I had to spend a couple of days at GE installing insulation in ranges. It was during the summer and I was sweating and it took about 3 days to get the itching to stop. Good luck.
Believe this or not, but when you do it enough, you get used to it.
Anyway, talc down and brush off, shower, after drying off good, talc down and brush off again.
You will not feel on you again after that.
By now you've figured it out, but I always used to take a hose that was connected to an air compressor and blow the stuff off of me and my clothes. Then I'd take a luke warm shower set at a flow that was gentle. Hope it worked out for you.
