Question about roof shingles. When places like Home Depot...?

Question:When places like Home Depot have their advertisement circulars and they advertise roof shingles, it will say something like $15.99 and then have a pic of a shingle, now is that for a box of shingles or is that per shingle? And if it is a box, usually, how many shingles come to a box? thank You

Answers:
in general, singles are sold by the packages or bundle and each bundle will cover 33 square feet, 3 bundles cover 100 square feet

Different thickness of shingle come in different packs. Some come three boxes to a square, 100 sf covered, and some come 4 packs per square.
