What Insects can you find in your Bathroom?
Question:Where toilet, sinks, baths and all water pipes may be, is there a small , shiny grey/silver backed insect called 'Silver Backs'?
It's narrow body, around 3-4mm long, moves like a fish in water. I ask as i have found one in my bathroom.
What are they if not Silverbacks?

(even tells you how to get rid of them)
eww they totally are!! they gross me out
we used to have them in our toilet(not in the actual toilet,in the room,),we used to call them silver fish, the whole outhouse(where the toilet was,was brickwork) they arent harmful though,
i found some under the rug we keep in front of the toilet. we have released them in the wild, with the rug and all.
KILL THOSE BUGS!
I am cleaning my bathrooms on the daily basis and I met with lots of creepy crawlies. Spiders of all sizes and appearances are the most common ones. Fly, moths and something that i really don't want to knew what is it. I do like winter time when all of "lovely creatures" are gone some how... You mentioned about them with some kind of love.
WE FOUND A BUFFALO DRINKIN FROM OUR BASIN
they are silver fish and they like damp areas..which is why you find them in bathrooms etc. they are harmless to humans.
Pocket ferret.
trouser snake
hedgehogs.
And lots of other insignificant little blighters.
Silver fish
Silverfish is what they are, you don't see many unless you are a plumber, they thrive in damp places and for some reason in hearths/chimney breasts. I see lots, but know nothing else about them except they rather not be found, they soon dissapear!
I only find Silverfish in my bathroom
It sounds like what you call Silver Backs
That sounds like them, they go to damp areas try checking all your pipework for any drips etc as there is bound to be damp there. If you have carpet in the bathroom try to keep as dry as possible. IE getting out the bath put a towel on the floor so carpet is kept dry etc.
