Is there anything I need to put on bathroom sealant before stripping it off?

Question:Or does it just simply come off if I use a sealant stipping knife? I'm trying to replace the old mouldy sealant with some fresh white one.

If the old sealant is silicone, there is no solvent that will work. You've got to do it by hand.
