If you are competent at wood-working make one with 2x4 uprights grooved along their length. Then get glass sheets that can slide down those grooves to the bottom. That way the cage is strong but you get a great view of what it is doing (and you don't have to squint through wire mesh or worry that it will get snagged in the mesh).
Try using google to get plans. You should make it out of IRON or some metal. try not to use to much wood the Guinea will eat it.
Buying a cage or building a cage? well that depends on weather you have the material on-hand. wire is not cheap!! wood will not hold up very long and will hold odors..your best bet is to try an online auction, you will save some money maybe not a lot, but you will get more choices..just watch the shipping..
try www.Cavycages.com
wire mesh and some framing one by2s is cheapest and staple it or brad nail an make a little door itll be fun to do youll need to find a deterent for the little pecker chewing the wood so make sure the wood is under the mesh
12"h by 12"w by 36"L should be big enough...will the pig be out side at all?...where is the cage going to be most of the time?...will you be moving the cage often?...2 by 2s, fine wire mesh, stainless for the button, 2 self closing hinges and a stapler gun should do the job...
