How 2 get hose off of shop-vac?????

Question:2 yr. old shop vac. have a button-like thing at each end-doesn't release it, or twist off. should have saved directions, huh?lol ty bob

Answers:
check and see if the button is jammed with a piece of dirt. Or just try blowing it out with a can of compressed air or air compressor. When you get it loose put some graphite in the button assembly. Do not use oil, it attracts dirt!! good Luck

Most hoses on shop vacs can be pulled out.
They are held in by friction.
Give it a good yank, it should come out.
If it won't pull out ,look for a little button, press it and pull out or twist and pull,it may be ceased a little tap with a piece of wood may help.
