What type of paint/dye can I use on the inner lining(plastic) of a shower curtain?

Question:They are too light and sheer and a pattern might work better.

Answers:
krylon paint makes a paint that works real good on plastic lawn chairs and the like. if the liner is new, good to go if used clean good with 409 or like, let set out in sun to dry. test a small area with spray to make sure paint is not going to attack plastic.

Buy a dark shower curtain lining. You can't paint plastic shower curtain liners.
It won't be possible to dye plastic. You can only dye materials that are permeable (capable of absorbing the dye), and plastic cannot do that. Just replace it.
I believe acrylic spray paint would work however, screen printing ink would likely adhere best. It would be good if you could heat whatever you decide to use...

If it's for a music festival just use acrylic paints. It'll wash off in a rainstorm but you can roll around in the colorful mud.
krylon makes a spray paint just for plastics but honestly I haven't tried it yet.
