Harry potter or castle themed bedroom help please?
Question:we want to do castle type walls matbe a castle bed from mfd anything cheap and easy to make any ideas will be GREAT thanks

castle. My son's room is painted like that and you can see it on hgtv.com, under rate my room-type in castle in the search. It is not just a block look though, the blocks are broken and you look thru them at knights, one on a horse, and a lady in a boat. It is stunning- the previous homeowner did it.
I just did the block castle look at the office of a big company, with faux marble insets and trees- got tons of compliments and people wanting my card.
I wouldn't paint all the walls like a castle. Instead, paint a castle on the wall directly where the bed is and let that serve as the headboard. Rather than getting a headboard, I painted a silhouette of the Chicago skyline instead and it looks awesome. I'm sure a castle would look great too.
You could rent/ borrow a projector so that you could put any image on the wall. That way you could trace and stencil a very neat castle scene.
You could make inexpensive bed curtains like the kids have in the book: http://interiordec.about.com/cs/canopybe...
You could make shields out of cardboard/plywood and paint for the 4 houses (or just you favorite one).
