How do you remove a toilet seat??
Question:When the screws in the reservoir tank are rusted and won't turn ?? Should I just cut through these screws?? Don't know what to do...Please help!

I just reread your question, are you wanting to remove the whole toilet bowl or just the seat? because the seat shouldnt be attached to the tank.
The screws in the tank should not be the same for the toilet seat. The toilet seat is generally separate from the tank.
Plastic Screws/bolts are located under the toilet bowl and screw the toilet seat down. These should be easy enough to loosen without cutting them.
The screws in the tank would require you to replace the tank, unless it is an older non tank model. In this case, it is still the same under the lip of the toilet bowl near the back of the toilet, you can feel and/or locate the screws for the seat. And these days they are usually plastic.

Look where the seat connects to the bowl. The hinges of the seat have flip-top caps covering the top of the screws holding the toilet "seat" down to the bowl.
You shouldn't be removing the tank to replace a toilet seat! The screws to the toilet seat are located on the plastic caps just behind the toilet seat. These can be unscrewed from underneath the toilet or if you pop the plastic caps, you have access to them that way. New toilet seats come with the screws necessary to install the new seat.
