pure white makes the room look big!

Blood red is the best color for walls - not from paint though.
orange- neon ish, but more of a retro kind of shade, and green!
choose light pastel colors it made all of the rooms in my house look WAY bigger cause it was all dark!

if you want your room to look bigger, go for lighter colors.
Sky blue and Red.
or
Lavender and Lilac .
or
Fuschia and Neon green.
I think a baby yellow it great. What about cream colors. Keep it light. dark;k colors will make it look small. what about baby blue and yellow. Pink and baby purple. :)
I would probbly pick Red and purple! trust me on this one or you could do a your school colors if your in school or your favorite school colors from your old school if they are really pretty!
yeah do some neon colors. supposedly lighter colors make the room look bigger but.thats only what my mom says..lol
The colors that are "in" are khaki, chocolates, creams, browns. If those colors will work with your furniture, I would go with a coffee color on one wall and go darker (choc) or a lighter (cream) on another.
If you want a room to look bigger its always better to have a dark accent wall and lighter walls all around. I recommend dark red (burgundy) with tan-ish walls around that. It will make your room look larger and richer!
what color should I paint my walls? How novel, I'm going to meditate on that for sixteen hours and get back to you.
It is easier asked than answered...but here is my opinion.

Find a color wheel to look at color choices. What ever color you like, the wheel will have oposite color on the wheel that will compliment it. Think of tints and shades in colors. All colors of the spectrum of one color but by adding another color...it is in the same family but the same color only lighter or darker. Reds, yellows, some of the bright greens are considered warm colors... blues, purples, darker greens are considered cool colors.
Take red, if you add more white, it becomes pink, if you add more black it becomes maroon.
Tints are Lighter, shades are darker colors on the wheel.

Look around at your furniture, decorations, wood tones, lighting, fabrics on windows and furniture.

Decide what style is your own for furnishings and life style.

Deliberately observe the surroundings, play with furniture movement in the room (s), lighting, accessories, clearing out cluttered areas, allowing more natural light to filter into the space, and flooring colors and types.

Now decide what makes you tick in your space. Go to your fabrics and make notes of what is comfy for you.

Take swatches of fabrics to the paint store and find complimentary shades that would enhance the fabrics, flooring and lighting.

Never decide on any shades unless you bring the paper paint swatches home and check them in your own space before buying. Big disaster, due to paint tends to dry approx. 3 x's darker than the actual color looks while wet in the can.

Always try to keep it light about 3 x's than you decide on.
Flouresent lighting in the stores is not natural lighting to look at your choices.
Tape colors on your walls and look at them in the morning, afternoon, and evening with ambient lighting (night lamps) to see how they fit your expectations.

Furniture, drapes, filtered lighting , and flooring can cast shadows and make the room seem darker and dingy at times or can make the room look bigger or smaller.

If you understand your surroundings, then everything else comes into play and is easy.

the color is completely up to you, it reflects you personality and no one can choose that for you.the only thing that i can recommend is a light color, or a light shade of a color, because light colors give the optical illusion of the room being bigger than it actually is!

good luck!<3
