How to remove vaulted ceiling fan?

If you are referring to a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling ? you will need a tall ladder set it up and climb up remove the cup around the rod that supports the fan disconnect the wires make sure you turn it off lift the rod out of the bracket and down it comes

You will need a really tall ladder. Unscrew the fan from the houseing, rewire a light fixture, if desired.
