Need info on screening in porch?

Question:I have a porch with a roof over it already (connected to home) and am looking to screen it in. Should i hire someone or just try to do it myself. Lowes has the frame in black, and screen. I am not really handy but the job is not that complicated because all that needs to be done is just frame and screen. Suggestions please!

Do yourself a favor and DIY. Buy the Screen-Tite system at any of the big box places and follow the directions. Buy the Screen-Tite spline , a spline tool, screws to install the systen and you're ready to go. The great part about this system is that if a section of screen gets torn after u do the install, it is very easy to replace.

If the structure is already ther, it's easy. Some 1 X 2 strips of wood, some screening and a stapler. You don't even need to worry about stretching it much. It'll look great!
It depends what your frame is. Are you using aluminum with a spline groove? If you use that material, you will need a roller. If you don't care if you have a perfect job, do it yourself. Expect the screen to have ripples in it.
As a DIY, the ready made aluminum frames might be an easy way to proceed, but you'd have to craft a frame, or backer frame for them, likey enabling you to remove the alum. to re-do. or clean. Certainly both 1 and 2 are valid, and the ready mades would require a spline tool to install the screen material.

Central FL,,, everything is screened here :)
I would do it myself. You will waist a lot of money on hiring a professional. I would build three walls out of 4x4 studs. I would put a stud every 36''. I would staple the screens to that.
