Bathtub drain is stuck.?
Question:I manually removed a clog from my bathtub drain, and then I pushed the stopper back in, but I pushed it in too far (in the closed position). Now when I try to use the lever to pop it up, it won't! It's stuck that way with water and cleaning solution in the tub...I tried a screwdriver but nothing's working..here's a pretty good representation of what the drain looks like

Basically it's a metal stopper with NO holes in it

To drain:
I would use a very small, thin, screwdriver (jewelers type) to lift the plug and remove it to drain the water. If it's loose but you just can't get under it any other way, a wet/dry shop vac may lift it enough to get under it. Toilet plunger may work if you're quick enough.
To repair:
Remove the lever and linkage to find the broken part and replace it. It may just be a bent striker rod or disconnected striker spring if you're lucky. Examine the plug for damage also.
See step #5 under ' How to use a plunger ' for a diagram.

Bummer. Call a plumber.

to pop it up try to use a old spoon
i had taht before and it worked
Try 2 knives, or other rather sharp pointed objects and pry them opposite of each other between stopper and rim and then CAREFULLY try to lever the stopper up.
Hi, not sure if this will work , but it cant hurt. How about using a toilet plunger on the plug while you pull on the lever. Just an idea!
