Can someone show me how to make a bottlerocket launcher??
Question:i'm waniting a "bottle ricket launcher using a firework not a actuall bottle!"
Answers:
All we used was a bottle or a pipe stuck in the ground :) Bottle rockets are illegal here, now, so we don't have any :(
A neighbor when I was younger had a long pipe and would light his firecrackers and then drop them in. He leaned over once cuz it didn't go off. Wham! It blew up and out and hit him in the chin instigating a trip to the ER!
i use a peice of 1/2 inch p.v.c. pipe easy to shove into the ground anywhere.
You can use pretty much anything round. I once used 1/2" galvanized tubing, electrical conduit, I bracketed to a 2X4 and "C" clamped to the tail of the pickup. I had 10 tubes lined in a row so I could set up 10 at a time and shoot off rapidly.
We used to shoot bottle rockets at each other using short piece of pvc 1/2" pipe.
The ones open on both ends shot farther than the lauchers we made with one end capped.
Long gone, the days of being a carefree stupid kid. Loved them.
PVC pipe is what I used to use when I was younger, just cap one end of it, maybe have it 3 to 4 feet long, can even put handle on it if like, so you can hold like bazooka. Just be careful some of the bottlerockets have a wick that burns real fast. Have a safe and happy 4th!
A COKE BOTTLE!
Easy one for holding, of course not safe, but none are: Cut a piece of electrical conduit, and bend the pipe at one end to form a handle, it will also close off the end of the pipe. Also can use conduit to shove in the ground to launch. Don't have them in my state anymore, but we used to shoot them at each other when we were kids, as well as shoot them into the pond. Amazing that they will travel underwater and then explode. Though the fish probably did not appreciate it.
