What is the best and safest way to keep an area weed free?
Question:I want to care for my flower garden by myself but that means that I need something to keep weeds away. I really want something natural if possible. If there is not a natural way, are there any suggestions on what to buy?

The barriers help. Vinegar is a good weed killer, and much cheaper than store brands. Spray dirrectly on weeds.
lay down a barrier available at home inprovement stores and/or lay a thick carpet of redwood mulch
Buy a goat. They eat the weeds and provide free fertilizer for you.
Lay down a barrier cloth and mulch over it. Also planting ground cover will keep down weeds. Pacysandra and ivy are good weed barriers.

Try using Preen. It works really well if you spread it before the weeds even show. Or you could weed then spread. Its safe to use anywhere.
Weeds are nothing but unwanted plants.U can go for plastic mulch, simply spreading the the plastic sheet over the weeds which prevent the weeds to grow because of absence of sunlight.Eventhough it is natural, best way is to grow for weedicide, handweeding,mechanical weeding. All the best.
