someone once told me that putting shaving cream on the stain right away and leaving for a few min will work really well,you just scrub and then wipe off

I use spots out. it comes in a spray can, it is $10 but it works, you can buy it at Lowes or a carpet store.
I was a bit confused as to whether you want to use absolutely no soap and water or if you just didn't want it too wet, like the pros do it. If it is the latter and you just want to spot clean, I found something that works extremely well. I mix 2 Tbsp. dish liquid and 3 Tbsp vinegar to a quart of warm water. Work it into the stain without soaking it, then blot it with a clean cloth.
