How do you make your own set of lock picks?
Question:Follow up to my previous question: how does one create their own set of lock picks (what materials are needed, how much time and effort is necessary, etc.)?
Answers:
It is illegal to have a set of lock picks unless you are a locksmith or in law enforcement. Anyone helping you would be breaking the law.

I made a great set from an old hacksaw blade. First, I cut the blade in half and used each end as a pick. I laid another set of picks over the blade and traced around to make my pattern, then used another hacksaw to cut out the picks. The flexibility of the blade's steel was perfect for this application. These homemade picks worked perfectly and I've used them for over 10 years now.
