Is there a difference between black chalkboard paint in a spray can and regular flat black spray can paint ?

Question:

Answers:
There is very little difference between the two but neither are acceptable to professionals.
It is the professional touch that enables it to be used time and again

yes there is chalkboard paint creates a writable surface, and also erasable, black flat or gloss paint does not, chalkboard paint gives you the chalkboard affect you would find in a classroom if applied correctly..
flat white or flat black paint work fine.

The chalkboard paint has a higher pigment density so it holds up longer.

The brush on flat paints work just fine also, if you have a good hand. Have a hot pink blackboard if you want :)
