How do you lock the blade on a skil saw?

Question:

Answers:
Some saws have a little button on the side you push in to lock the blade so you can unscrew the bolt and flange that holds it in place... I don't think I've ever owned one that had that feature tho? I found that you can retract the safety guard and set the saw on a piece of scrap wood... the teeth of the old blade dig into it and with just a little pressure on the handle of the saw itself, you can loosen the bolt...

Most blades on a skil saw, has a small hole drilled in them, close to the edge. Stick a small screwdriver into that hole, and by hand, rotate the blade until it hits against the frame of the saw. Then tighten the nut that holds the blade on the saw.
Good ideas! But don't forget to PULL THE PLUG!
put a piece of wood on the blade to keep it from turning, and tighten the nut that holds blade with the proper size open wrench.
