What is something cheap that comes with/in aluminum?

As some of the others have stated, you can purchase metal sheets (steel, tin, brass, aluminum, etc) at various building supply, craft stores, perhaps even the local welding supply.
Another source would be your newspaper printer. Many newspapers use aluminum plates in their presses, and after theyve been banged up a bit, they have to replace them. You can buy a stack of them for little to no cost.

I'd go with aluminium siding. I'm sure most installers would be delighted to let you have a piece of offcut from their scrap bin.
Lowe's, Home Depot have various widths rolls of thin aluminum in the roofing section of the stores. The metal is thin and easy to bend and shape.
