how do i make those myself so i dont spend $30 on one little shelf? and how to hang em?

Answers:
There is a special bracket behind the shelf that the edge slides into, it's like a sideways shower door track that grips the edge of the shelf.
Buy one and inspect it, you can always return it.

the wood pieces are run through a table router or a hand router that has a special " router bit" is pushed along the board edge and cuts the special edges. see if you can find a local cabinet shop or wood shop and maybe they can show you. or find some handy person who might have one. "Routers" are all around you. In the old days before electricity, they did them all by hand.
Build the shelves up out of 1x lumber and moulding. You can do it with a hand miter box, but power miter saw will make for a much easier and more professional job.

As for the floating mount, several options-
-- inset the back of the shelf and use picture hanging hardware
-- use a router with a clock-hanging bit to cut a hanging slot. The bit makes a large hole for a screw head to fit through, and then a slot that goes up from the hole that's just large enough for the shaft of the screw.
-- inset the back of the shelf, and rabbet the underside of the backedge of the top. Mount a similarly rabetted block of wood (a "cleat") to the wall. When the shelf is set on the cleat, the two rabetts interlock (in profile, picture to "L" shaped pieces of wood interlocking - that's what you're doing with the cleat and the rabbet on the underside of the shelf)
