What is a plastic plasterers float, made bigger than the normal float.?

Because it covers a larger area making it easier to get it flat !!


It not meant to be used as a float it is for levelling.
none of the answers are right so far ..its use is for when you are laying floor screeds
it is actually used for plastering outside wall's with sand and cement,although it is also used for concrete finishing.
rendered walls rubbed up by the spread with a float !wood preferably
this is used for rendering work and slab work, it is used in a different way, the whole surface is pushed onto render and is polished off.
You would not do this on plaster as it is harder and would stick to the float.
