My toilet flushes normal, but the bowl doesn't empty out. It also doesn't overflow either. What's going on?

Question:I went on vacation for a week and a half and when I came back, the toilet just doesn't work anymore. Prior to leaving, the toilet was working fine.

Answers:
You have lost water pressure, if it only effects the toilet, then there is a leak in route from the main valve to it. If you have low pressure in the sink, shower or bath tub, then it's the main valve and may fall under your city's responsibility, but everything between is your problem and a plumber is in order!

This happened to me. The stick of chlorine cleaner had gotten stuck in the flapper door in the tank.
Check the ball float not going low enough.
