I can't find covers to go above my window air conditioners, because I have side-side window..HELP!?

I solved this problem by buying a sheet of plexigass the size of the opening above the a/c. Measure from the inside of the track to the inside of the opposite side and from top to bottom so you get a snug fit. Then, wedge the plexiglass in with pieces of wood. Then, use acrylic caulk around the edges to seal it in and keep bugs out.

I used to use plywood, but you can't see through it. The caulk will peel away when you take it out in the fall. You will also want to wedge a stick in between the window and the other side so that bad guys can't slide it open in the dark and steal your spoons.

I hope this makes sense. Email me if I can help you more.
