Whats the cheapest shower head to get that will give better water pressure?

Question:

Answers:
New showerheads are required to be "water efficient" meaning not over 2-1/2 gallons per minute. Your problem may not be needing a new head, but, cleaning the old one. The holes get clogged with mineral deposits. You could put vinegar in a baggie and tie it around the head for a few hours to soak and dissolve the deposits.

Most shower heads contain a limiting plug. Remove the plug from the head and you'll get more pressure. good luck!
Pressure can't be changed without adding either a pump or a water tower. (If you are on a well, the holding tank pressure could be increased) What you can do is increase the velocity. A shower head with fewer and smaller holes would increase the velocity. (sorry I don't know brand names as I use a hand held device like Water Pik)

The decrease in volume in the shower you can blame on the Kyoto Accord signed years ago as an environmental action. All plumbing fixtures after that date (early -mid1990's) mandated flow restrictors.
We just bought a shower head at Wal Mart for $3.00.
I don*t know if it will help with water pressure or not, I think that comes from your pressure tank.
Your water pressure is determined by the supply line to the shower head not the shower head itself.
its a very small one used in hotels
