Weeping Tile.?

Question:We are putting weeping tile around the perimeter of our foundation INSIDE the house. (It's 180 years old and finally gettting a cement floor) Do we lay gravel under the weeping tile and over it? Which way do the holes on the pipe go to the top or the bottom? Thanks.

Answers:
Holes go down, the pipe I buy has two lines of holes and they would be at like 5 and 7 o'clock. Bed the pipe in a layer of stone and completely cover the pipe. The bedding layer can be thin but it is better bedding it in stone.

Make sure you buy stone that won't pass thru the holes in the pipe.

Give the 10 to Buzzard. Susinct and totally valid.
