What do you call that thing attached to a cabinet in which you insert the padlock into before locking it.?

Question:I've been wanting to lock my wooden cabinet but I only have a padlock.. I don't have that thing attached to the cabinet to use the padlock with. I want to buy one and install it unto the cabinet.
