Reinforcing doors?

Question:

Answers:
Go to your local large hardware store. you can but 4 inch wood screws for the hinges and strike plate. the screws will go through the light frame and into the solid 2X4 frame, same with the strike plate (plate where the door latch seats into). there are also stronger more solid strike plates. The other thing to do is replace the door with a solid core door, it is heavy but harder to kick in and deadens the sound well.

Take yourself a 2x4 about 2ft long, secure to the floor about 2ft from the door long ways. take another 2x4 and secure it to the back of the door towards the middle, long ways. Now use another 2x4 to put in between the two 2x4's.Nobodies getting through that.
for what means, staying closed, opening from a jamb, ect.
I agree, For what purpose?
SE may be tracking towards a seemingly good suggestion, but you must determine if there are any shims at the points of fastener replacement. Otherwise you`ll draw the jambs out of "wack" and you`ll create operational problems.
