Answers:
this is really simple actually -- all u have to do is go to youre local walmart buy as big as rug as you want -- then you can take a razour and sissors then cut up the ends ive done it before it looks good --and do the top if u want to also-- :)

latch hook. just get a blankmat at a craft store. Then get the color of yarn that you want. you can make it has big or little as you want and its like only 20 dollars for supplies. Okay you cut the yarn as long as you want. and you just latch hook it. you can go to about.com to look up latch hooking. its simple but might take alittle while. its by strands so you got to cut the yarn all the same lenghth then you got to latch hook it onto the canvas. so hope this helps.
you can make a really funky one by getting some chicken wire and buying a whole bunch of old blue jeans from a thrift shop and cutting them into about 3 by 8 inch strips then tying them in knots in the chicken wire...and to keep the wire from scratching your floor if it's hardwood then glue upohlsters (sp?)foam to the bottom
hope you like it! I have two in my room!
