How many paving blocks would it take fo a 12x20 patio?

Question:

Answers:
It depends on how big the pavers are!

for a standard brick size paving block 200mm x 100mm you will need 1128.50

in the UK we work in metric so
12' converted into metric
12' x 12" x 25.4 = 3657 rounded up to 3.700
20' converted into metric
20' x 12" x 25.4 = 6096 rounded up to 6.100

so 6.100 x 3.700 = 22.57 metre squared and there are 50 blocks to square metre

50 x 22.57 = 1,128.50 block

you would in fact order 23 square metre due to the fact of any paving blocks being damaged by fork lift trucks during loading and unloading of wagons

this amount does not include any wastage you may incur with cutting the blocks

hope this helps

thanks

If your paving blocks are 4 feet by 5 feet, you would need just twelve.
Ask them where you plan to by it and buy a few extra for repacements or boo boos.
12X20 is 240 Sq feet. If the paving block is 1 foot square, you need 240. Take it from there.
depends on how big the paving blocks are
