Would a lattice box around the outside A/C condenser unit restrict the air flow?

Question:I'm thinking about hideing the outside airconditioner unit with lattice but i dont want to suffacate the unit either

Answers:
Try to keep the lattice at least 18 inches from any side, make sure the top is open, and that the lattice can be disassembled or moved if the unit needs repair. Otherwise, it should not block too much air. Keep your outdoor unit clean by washing it down with a gentle hose every month or so to keep spider webs and dust from clogging the fins.

As long as the lattice isn't right up against the cooling fins it won't hamper the opperation.
No less than 6in. Hold it together with hooks. The AC repair man wont see the humor in screws or nails. He will break it apart or tell you he'll be back in a couple of days to give you time to do it.
