get a steamer if you can it really help.
spray it with water then scrape it off
Have you tried using a steamer? It comes off pretty easily.
sponge it with warm water mixed with fabric softener..then scrape it off...it'll come off easy
Wet sponge - and a spray bottle - just spray it with water and wipe over with wet sponge - the adhesive will soften in about five mins - then peel off
you can buy wallpaper stripping lotion, or use a steam cleaner to steam the paper.
Hot soapy water or else hire a steam wall paper stripper.
Score it first with a scraper
Soak it with hot soapy water (as much as possible)
Then scrape!

Have fun :-)
give it a really heavy dose of steam from a wallpaper stripper or if you don't have one use a sponge mop and lots of really hot water
Score it and use HOT soapy water
let it soak in and peel away
Scratch it, and use a steamer. If you don't have a steamer or it is in an awkward to reach area, try a chemical stripper. You can buy a chemical wallpaper stripper in a spray-gun bottle from B&Q. Just spray and wait 5 minutes.
First off you need to get what's called the "tiger claw"
its scores the paper.
then you need to mix this solution (Dif) with water and what it does is it weakens the adhesive of the wallpaper glue. It penetrates the scores you created and makes wallpaper removal easier.
to answer your question, there will be some areas where the paper will come off in large chunks but there will be area where you will need to conduct the mundane metal scraper technique.
If it does not take water well, sand the surface with rough sandpaper. Use a garden sprayer to keep wet, the longer the better. The is release stuff you can use too. You can even rent a steamer that will help but you have to be there all the time. With a sprayer you get shoot it every half hour until it is loose.
We bought this great thing called the "wall paper tiger". Its cheap and whne you roll it on the wall it puts tiny holes in the wall paper. Then when you put the remover solution (Dif) on, it can seep in. It makes removing the hard stuff easy. We had 5 layers to remove...so friggin many that the last wall paper layer was so embeded it had become one with the glue.

Horrid.

We tried everything and the Tiger was the best!

:-)
be very careful and use a blow torch!

only joking, score paper, sugarsoap and warm water, soak the paper and leave it for a few hours, come back and resoak, leave for an hour then use use scraper, if you had a steamer it would make the job a lot easier at this stage.
Deaf - mix some Downy Fabric Softener in water and spray it on enough to dampen the paper - it will come off easily then. Works better than the stuff you buy and is much less expensive.
Also, the liquid fabric softener (like downey) that you use in the wash; makes great wallpaper remover; but first steam as much as you can, and also, peel off the really dry wallpaper that you can by taking an edge at the top or bottom and slowly removing it using a metal spatula to pry it off as you go up the wall. Good luck, I just removed 40 year old wallpaper from kitchen and bath; and have one bath to go! if I ever get motivated to do it again ho ho

happy 4th of july.
If you haven't all ready, score the wallpaper with a wallpaper scorer. Using a spray bottle, mix equal amounts of fabric softener and water. Spray this mixture onto the wallpaper and wait until it is fully saturated. It should either peel off or can just be easily scraped off with a large flat scraper. There shouldn't be any need for picking, chipping and cussing at the stubborn wallpaper.
As a favour to a girl pal I said i would remove the wallpaper from her chimney breast to fit hearth and it was cover in wood-chip and to make things worse it had been painted with MASONRY paint ??? The only way to remove it was to score it with a Stanley knife and use a steamer... It took me hours but without the steamer I think I would still be there...
Bring him back to life and let him walk away.
give a very good soaking with luke warm water
