Tiling a fibreglass roof?


Question:Hi, I'm ceramic tiling a fibreglass roof, what do i need touse to stick the tiles down with ?

Not sure if normal adhesive will be suitable !

Is there any other problems, I may encounter ?

First have a think... You are going about this project in entirely the wrong way. I think you mean you intend tiling a ceiling not a roof. and you would be sticking the tiles up, not down. Sounds dodgy to me, you probably need to fit in a new ceiling made of stout stuff and that could bring the ceiling height below regulation height. Consider taking the existing roof off and replacing with a new one working upwards not down and don't forget planning permission and building regulations. You may be better off re-locating to Beirut

Apply uni-bond pva adhesive to the surface you want to tile. Then use a ready mixed waterproof adhesive (i.e. suitable for bathrooms etc).
