At your local hardware store.
I think I might have some of them for you.
Could spare one too
At a hardware store get one used to attach gutters to roof.
The are called roofing gutter nails. you can buy them at most hardware stores and you buy as many or as few as you need. You can always go by a store that sells and installs rain gutters and ask them for one.
Use a 9" bolt instead.(with a Nut)
They are most places called nail spikes. You can find them at lowes or most hardware shops sold by piece count and sometimes by weight. Depending on what your gonna use it for a bolt and nut may work in its place.
Farm, agriculture or ranch supply outfits will have spikes of various lengths and gauges.
You can buy "spikes" at any lumber yard, some are called "railroad spikes" used to tie in the ties at crossings, some are fourteen inches long.
To cowboydoc- railroad spikes are used to affix the rail to the ties. Not to "tie in the ties at crossings". The purpose of the lip on one side of the head is to catch the foot of the rail.
