First of all Liquid Sandpaper is NOT a stripper as one answer suggest and you DO saturate your rag with the liquid, what it does is soften up the 1st layer of paint to which you apply your new coat of paint in a 30 minute period this way when the 1st layer dries it pulls the new paint in resulting in a good BOND process. The best you'll find on the market and has been around for many years is called "Wil-Bond" Good luck Les the painter
Use sparingly when first working with it so that it doesn't spread to an area that you don't want sanded. Sounds funny I know but some areas don't need as much sanding and then if you have to even out the wood it won't work. It won't stain evenly either. Liquid sandpaper is easy to use and has been around a long time. I always suggest a test patch underneath what ever you are sripping to see if it will work on the type of wood use apply it too.
I love it- great product. Using a scubby sponge on the area or tsp to clean it of any oils etc first, but I have even used to to repaint elementary school ball walls outside (we did murals) and it was the bomb!
