What is the best way to removing silicon chalk fron shower door frame?
Question:I need to remove a shower door without damaging the tub or door.
Answers:
First you need to support the door so that as you loosen the caulk, it won't topple over and break. Then, CAREFULLY scrape the razor blade just under the caulk til you can pull up a bit... pull that up and away. Continue doing this until the door is freed.
It's a tedius job but yes, it can be done. Very Hot water on a rag and held to the caulk may help to soften it if necessary.
