Can I use white cement paste like a paint on concrete precast molding arround my widows?

Question:My window concrete molding is not bright white and also not smooth finish. I tried to apply white cement , just like paint but I observed that it is not fixing to the surface falling like powder. Is anybody has a solution? pl share.

Answers:
Try a surface bonding cement like Quikwall. It is a fiberglas reinforced stucco that is white but you can add pigment to it if you like. It would need to be troweled on but can be applied very thin. I tried applying it with a roller and I found that the fibers stuck out. My whole house is troweled with it inside and out. It is a very hard surface once it dries and cures and can be drilled.
