I'd like to paint my trash compactor to match my dishwaher, fridge,and my stove/mirowave '?
Question:Can anyone tell me how do you paint appliances so that they look as though they have come from the factory that color? I am wanting to paint a white trash compactor to a beige?

If you remove the top chrome handle part of your compactor you will find inside the door a few different colored panels. See if the color you want is in there. You should have at least 2 panels with a color on each side. I have switched this many times. Some older dishwashers come with this as well.
Use the epoxy paint from rustolium, they have the colors and finish you'll need, good luck
My brother-in-law did this to match his appliances with ordinary spray appliance paint from Home Depot. Just make sure to mask over any stainless steel before spraying.
I just took appliances to an professional paint shop when I was a Realtor, but a trash compactor should only have a 24" front to paint in an almond shade to practice before doing the rest of your kitchen. This paint will last for years if you invest in a quality product. If you have issues painting with a spray can, have a friend or neighbor help you or do what I did.
