How do I change a bc3 light pendant back to a normal pendant, or another light fitting?

Question:The wiring in the BC3 pendant looks much more complicated and has more wires than the normal ones installed in my home.

You can either change the lampholder to a normal BC type or remove the complete pendant and connect a new light fitting. The wires should be no more than three looped feeds, two looped neutrals and a switch wire. The bc3 holder is supposed to ensure that you only use energy saving lamps.
