How do I rejuvenate dried up latex paint?

Question:Latex paint was in covered can, but dried out anyhow?
can I add something to get it softer again?
suggestions?

Answers:
No can do. Once it is dry, you are out of luck.

To keep it from happening again, cover the paint with a piece of plastic before sealing the can.

Throw it out and start with a fresh can.
i dont think there is a way, u better just get a new can, they sell small cans for like 10 bucks
Sorry, but you can't make dried latex paint become a usable liquid paint again. Your best bet is to buy new paint that is color -matched via one of those color scanners.

However, you can prevent stored paint from drying out next time! Most paints and finishes react with oxygen to skin and eventually dry through. So you can prevent that from happening in a less-than-full paint can by adding an inert, heavier than air gas to the can to prevent oxygen in the air from reaching the paint. You can buy commercial products, but I recently came across a quick and inexpensive way to do the same thing using items that you probably have around the house.

In clean half-gallon pitcher, put a teaspoon of baking soda. Then pour in a 1/4 cup of vinegar. Swirl the mixture to mix it - you don't need to mix with a utensil. The reaction makes CO2, an inert, heavier-than-air gas. As the reaction slows, you can pour the gas (not the sludge at the bottom) off into the can before quickly sealing it shut.
you dont.
