Question:the troubel is the wall i need to build is 30ft high and 30ft long .what do i need to do . and its got to be double skin and tie into other walls .do i need metal bars

Answers:
Thats a big wall! you need a standard British cavity wall. 100mm cavity and two skins of 102 mm blockwork to be rendered.

The cavity should be closed and insulated and wall ties set into the bed joints as the wall is built.

As above!

spot on answer!
lots of breeze?
Hello, as a builder, I can tell you Mud is correct as far as most council planners are concerned.
i think before you even think about how to and what with you need give planning a call at your local council because they told us when we built a wall that because it was only 6 foot we did not need planning but we where not allowed to built it any higher so if you ain't checked out you need to ,
The wall needs to be properly designed and that includes proper tie ins to other walls such as indents. UK will require a building warrant from the local authority which will check all the details and calculations you had done.
You will probably need an engineer's design for such a high wall, and a building permit, from your local building authority.
There is no DIY option here.
A wall this high needs all the belt and brace routine.Use firfix to tie it to the existing building and stainless ties to tie it together.Your wall will probably be of 100mm block,100mm insulation and a 2nd 100mm bock with ties between the courses.I assume you have done the planning stuff and have adequate foundations in place. The type of block you are using has to be fit for purpose. It may be the case that you start off using concrete or engineering block for the first courses. You also may be advised to use high density breeze blocks.I also assume that the walls are been tied together with roofing timbers. The more info you get the better..Good luck
you need a bricklayer mate.
Ring mud and let him build the wall for you .
