Access Panels...I have pipes to two outdoor hosebibs attached to the house...they locate inside closets...?


Question:Can I build something over these like an access panel, that would stick out of the drywall 2 or 3 inches because that is where the pipes are now.

Answers:
Sure. I would suggest that you wrap the pipes with insulation though. You may be trapping cold air during the winter which could cause them to freeze.
