There is a product called "GOO OFF" that is typically sold in the paint department at LOWES stores. It is NOT GOO GONE, which is another product.

Duct tape (not duck tape) is tough to remove. It is made to stick to nearly everything forever! That is why people use it to fix cars.
But there is a product called Goo Be Gone and this works to break down the adhesive. It is very greasy and plain old mineral spirits or baby lotion may work too.
Just keep in mind you end up with a greasy stain, but I would chance it because the tape looks worse!
There is a product which will take the residue from tape off your window at the local hardware store. It is a petroleum base that dissolves the glue. I am not sure what you can do about the wall. If it has been painted, it might take the paint off as well. Your best bet on the paint might be to try sanding it very lightly with a fairly fine sand paper just to sort of sand the glue residue off.

Peel the duck tpae of first, you might have to use a five in one tool on puddy knife, nut once you get it off, use ruubing alchol, or a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser to remove the residue. Be gentle so as not to hurt the wall.
