What is more effective to lock two outside doors together,heavy duty chain or one of those kryptonite cables.?
Question:someone cut the chain to get in through doors .bigger chains or one of those cables that claims it cannot be cut with cutters.

The efficientcy of the lock depends on the determination of the theif. A lock is simply a deterant. If someone wants in bad enough, no lock or chain or cable is going to keep them out.
i can cut any chain with bolt cutters. the kryptonite is tough. it can be cut but not quickly or easilly. wound stainless steel IS the meanest kid on the block!
Any chain or cable can be cut. I would install metal grates over the doors Security bars. And chain the door it would take more time to get in they wouldn't want to.
cable is much harder to cut than chain
