This framing gun is a good gun. I have used it before on many occasions. Make sure you purchase the model with the "full size nail head" or that you get the conversion kit to allow full sized nail heads, its the new building code. A lot of people love the clip headed nails, they just dont have the holding power of a full nail head. You will notice on the full headed nails from bostitch are off centered and look a little wierd. This isnt much of a problem, they hold well. I personally own a porter cable framing gun. The clips of nails are seperated with a plastic holder. These nails are always centered with the nail head and have great firing/holding power per shot. It has a depth selecter like the bostitch you asked for. I hope this helps, been in the trade a while.
