if itz bedroom den ill go wid some rly harsh colorz dat wen everyone enters da room.. it'll catch deir eyes.. somthing like dark redish marron.. or lime.. or orange..

White is the best color for any room. It matches everything and is bright and cheerful looking.
Pure white is too harsh, but a cream eggshell goes with everything. I used khaki in my Austin home which had a more southwestern theme. I prefer neutrals having sold many homes as a Realtor because they are more versatile. I won't even go into red shag rugs! Bathrooms can be just the opposite, so go wild.
Since cream has many shades go over to a paint or hardware store and get a few color sample strips to see which ones go with your furniture and existing accessories. Try to avoid ashy or green shades and you should be fine.
