Can I get a band saw blade with diamond matrix for cutting stone?

Question:A small one, 96"x1/2" for example. Where can I find one of these?

Answers:
not sure if your cutting tiles, counter tops or slabs.

I normally use a 4and1/2 angle grinder and a good diamond tipped cutting wheel. it is a much cheaper investment than a wet saw or band saw

Only time i have seen a band saw used was on big quarry slabs of granite and the blade had to be water cooled.

google industrial masonry band saw blades

I've never seen one of those, I'll watch this question. It seems to me, that it would be hard on tires. I just spent a small fortune on tires.
Not that I know of. I worked in the R&D for a major maker of band saw blades for 11 years and I never saw one. There are carbide grit blades that might help. Lenox makes those.
Here is one supplier: http://www.bandsawbladesdirect.com/shop. , however the blades sold here are not specifically for stone, there may be others that will work better for stone. Keep in mind that stone cutting really should be done wet, and special blade guides might be needed, you might consider a saw specifically designed for a diamond blade, rather than fitting a dimond blade to an existing saw. A few examples;

I have a band saw and have never seen a "stone blade" however, that doesn't mean they don't exist. This is a different kind of saw altogether you know. This saw would require a water guide to keep the blade wet while cutting, it's just a whole new ball game.
