What are the ventilation requirements for a chop, panel, and table saw?

Question:We are in a 3000 sq/ft space on the ground floor of a two story complex.

Answers:
If you calculate the volume of the workshop and use the figure of 6 air changes per hour, you should be in pretty good shape. I think 12 air changes would be overkill.

Room volume (cubic feet) = length x width x height
6 Air changes per hour x Room volume = cubic feet per hour
cubic feet per hour / 60 = cubic feet per minute (cfm)

If you get a good dust collection system, the room's current ventilation will be fine. It'll be a lot neater too.
