How thick does the glue have to be when laying a tile DuraCeramic Floor?

Question:I am laying tile in my bathroom. How thick does my adhesive (Duraset Adhesive Glue ) have to be?

Answers:
With all due respect you should use a polyblended thin set Mortar, not a mastic, and it should be applied with a 1/4 inch tooth flat blade knife/trowel

it should be like half as thick as the tile... you should use grout, it works better with grout sealer... thats what my family uses..
diy doc is right.you need to use mortar. make sure it has acrylic added to it. this helps it become sticky. Make a small batch of mortar at a time. This way if it sets off too early, you wont waste a bunch. Levels, sponges, buckets, patience..
