Question:So that I can buy the parts (UK Based)

Answers:
1 60w Bayonet cap/Edison Screw lamp
1 Bayonet cap/Edison screw lamp holder
0.75mm 2 core flex (If the appliance is Double insulated- if not it'll b 3 core so u have an earth)
1 13A Plug top
1 BS 1361 3A Fuse (To replace the 13A fuse in the plug top)

Thats it apart from the lamp shade and some sort of design to support the lamp holder

** double insulated is basically something that cant conduct electricity and has no touchable metallic parts and is represented by a symbol which is a square inside of a square

This is UK spec, i am a 16th Edition Part P Registered Electrician

Light bulb socket, with or without a switch...your option. Wire...2/14 should work fine...that's 2 conductors and 14 guage wire...stranded is preferable as it makes the cord flexible, a plug and a switch if the light socket is without one.
the bulb and socket
Take one apart and see for yourself and then make it back up again.

That's the best way to find out and it'll help you with the assembly.
